    The Ultra Aluminum fence style, UAB-200 is unique in many ways. For example, this is the only 4 ft tall, three (3) rail aluminum fence that meets the swimming pool requirements as a safety barrier. Ultra's UAB-200 is our best choice for a swimming pool fence if you want the strength of a three rail fence that is only 4 ft tall. This is because, the height of this Ultra fence it will not obstruct your view of your swimming pool, landscaping or play area for you children and or pets. The reason this 48" fence meets the Boca Code for pools is because when the vertical members of your aluminum fence are greater than 1.75" apart you need to have a 45" space between the bottom horizontal rail and the next horizontal rail at the top. The 3 horizontal rails are 1-1/8" x 1" x 72 inches long and the fifteen vertical pickets are 5/8"sq with 3.88" spacing. The pickets are attached to the vertical rails using stainless steel matching painted screws. This particular Ultra aluminum fence is made with a flush bottom rail and the two top rails are 1" apart which gives this fence the 45" space between the horizontal rails that is required for a swimming pool fence barriers. (As always, check with your local municipality for their individual requirements for a swimming pool fencing because they may differ from city to city and state to state.)
